The staff and leadership at Rick Case Enterprises were recognized by a leading workers’ compensation insurer for excellence in protecting the health and safety of its workforce.

Rick Case Enterprises – which offers a variety of automotive brands to customers in South Florida and Atlanta, Ga. – was recognized with a MEMIC Award for Excellence in Injury Management. In 2023, only four MEMIC policyholders won that distinction by demonstrating best practices to identify and remove workplace hazards and building a culture of care and accountability.

The company was selected because of an “awesome claims partnership,” MEMIC Claim Team Manager Kelly Cordell said. “They are very engaged in the process and always timely in responding to calls and emails. They truly care about their employees, the care they are receiving, and outcomes.”

Cordell credited Rick Case safety officials for attending quarterly claim review meetings, often with mitigation strategies to discuss, especially in the event of a challenging claim. The company reports claims in a timely manner and has an excellent Return-to-Work program. And it supports light-duty tasks for injured workers that drive down claim costs, support household earnings, and deter attorney involvement.
