Transportation Solution Helps Volkswagen Move Metal PDF Print E-mail

CarsArrive Network is now the sole transportation solution for Volkswagen Credit Inc. (VCI), including Audi Financial Services, for all vehicles being moved to physical auctions.

CarsArrive Network, which is owned by Openlane, will provide a full service package of transportation management services to VCI that encompasses technological solutions, transport domain expertise and proven superior customer service in accordance with VCI's standards.

This partnership extends the longstanding relationship Openlane has had with VCI, already managing delivery of more than 20,000 vehicles annually for VCI dealers with an average transportation distance of over 700 miles and an average transportation cycle time of just five days based on single car moves and a Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm pickup availability.  For inbound auction moves, CarsArrive delivers VCI an average transport cycle time of only 3.7 days.

CarsArrive's transportation system enables VCI dealers to have immediate access to vehicle tracking and visibility, arrival times, real-time analytics, forecasts for estimated pick-ups and load history on each vehicle using a VIN search available through its Dealer Dashboard.

VCI also benefits by having real-time access to historical data on any vehicle in transit, analytics capabilities and full visibility into vehicle movement nationwide at any given time through an Asset Management Dashboard. CarsArrive provides end-to-end services that provide both buyers and sellers full vehicle disclosure, market pricing, transparency, customer service and rapid vehicle pick-up and delivery.
