NADA Selects New Leader

nada-logo-11Peter Welch, who has served as president and CEO of the Sacramento-based California New Car Dealers Association since 2003, has been selected as the new president of the National Automobile Dealers Association.

Welch will take the helm at NADA, based in McLean, Va., on Feb. 1.

At NADA, he will head up one of the most influential automotive organizations in the United States.

NADA officials said Welch was the unanimous choice of its board of directors, meeting in Dallas, following a nationwide search.
